Australian Consumer Law (ACL) — Your Rights

Consumer guarantees: Services and goods supplied by Freshclubnews (including workshop tuition, materials and online content) are covered by statutory guarantees under ACL. These guarantees cannot be excluded where applicable.

  • Services performed with due care and skill.
  • Reasonable time for delivery of online access or physical materials.
  • Remedies for major failures (refund, repeat service or compensation).

Refunds, Cancellations & Rescheduling

We aim to be fair and clear. Key points:

  • Class cancellations by Freshclubnews: full refund or credit for a future session.
  • Participant cancellations: up to 14 days before class — full credit; 7–14 days — 50% credit; less than 7 days — *** credit, unless a replacement is found.
  • Online course access: refunded within 14 days if access not yet granted or if a technical failure prevents access and cannot be resolved.

These terms sit alongside your statutory rights under ACL.

Online Courses & Access Terms

Online course access is provided under license for personal, non-commercial use. We reserve the right to disable access for breaches of terms. Materials remain our copyright; please do not reproduce without permission.

If you purchase access and experience technical issues, contact us promptly. We will investigate and aim to restore access or provide a suitable remedy.

Transfers are allowed with at least 7 days' notice. Transfers within 48 hours are not guaranteed.

Most in-person workshops include basic materials; premium florals or add-ons may incur extra cost (stated on booking page).

If you have a complaint, we ask that you contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the matter:

If unresolved, you may contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or your local state-based consumer protection agency. For issues involving online payments, consider your card issuer's chargeback options in addition to ACL remedies.
